Cultura Theater Ede gets ETC LED installation.

In 2025, Controllux was awarded the tender for the renewal of the light installation of Cultura Theater Ede. The complete lighting installation has been replaced by new and retrofit LED fixtures. In addition, a new light table and conversion were supplied.

Erik Pol, head of technology at the theatre, had been working with ETC fixtures and control tables for years. And because ETC has its Dutch office in Ede, it is no surprise that the lion's share of the installation would be carried out with ETC.

The ETC Lustr2 horizon battery was already present and we equipped a total of 20 ETC SourceFours with ETC S4WRD Color LED engines.

 From the specifications, written by Bureau Franken, the highest quality was requested with regard to the color reproduction and with this we ended up with the ETC X8 series, Lustr and Desire. For the parries, we have chosen the brand new ColorSource PAR V Zoom.

The multi-colored LED moving heads are Robe T.5s and LED Beam 150 RGBAs. The installation is controlled from the Blackbox, an ETC Puck with custom made EOS environment, which allows the control of the entire LED installation from simple light tables. As its own console, the theater has received an ETC Gio@5 with fader wing. The control of the fixtures is provided with DMX over CAT, so the entire set currently runs on DMX, but the infrastructure is prepared for control over ethernet.

All materials have been prepared by our Technical Service and Project Office, equipped with hooks, safety's, plugs and addressing. We also took care of the complete installation on site, including integration with the relays and room lighting installed by the electrical installer, as well as training on the materials.
