Het Hof van Nederland. Dordrecht (2015)
The Courtyard of the Netherlands ('Het Hof van Nederland') receives professional lighting
Lumen Solutions has recently been able to show its expertise by thinking alongside with the cultural museum in Dordrecht, for a new lighting-technical interpretation.
The Court of the Netherlands is a museum where the foundation for our freedom was laid in 1572, during the first Free States Assembly. This historical meeting is central but the story of Dordrecht, as the oldest city in Holland, is also told here. A story that is unmistakably also the story of the Netherlands; the history of Dordrecht as a sample of history. You will relive 1572 in this new museum.
On King's Day, King Willem Alexander and Queen Máxima opened the Court of the Netherlands in Dordrecht by signing a modern translation of the minutes of the First Free States Assembly. The old Augustinian monastery is where the foundation for an independent Republic was laid in 1572.
Rapenburg Plaza made the lighting design for the Hof van Dordrecht, AV and ShowControl the system design and also took care of the installation and programming of the AV light and ShowControl. Lumen Solutions supplied 38 pieces of Gantom 4W RGBW Micro Floodlights via Rapenburg Plaza.

On behalf of Lumen Solutions, we have done our best to meet the demands and wishes of this project as well as possible, and we also hope that The Court of the Netherlands is satisfied with the achieved result.
We would also like to thank Het Hof van Nederland, Rapenburg Plaza and AV & Showcontrol for a great collaboration, and we wish them a lot of fun with this classical museum in the coming years.
