Poppodium De Bosuil, Weert (2023)
De Bosuil goes for Robe again!
Poppodium De Bosuil started its history in the 60's and after various forms and locations in 2003 it settled on its current location at the Vrakkerveld in Weert.
De Bosuil often manages to surprise with attracting big international names, partly because of this there was a desire to enlarge the venue.
In the summer of 2023, the capacity of the pop hall was increased to 800 and with this came the explicit desire for expansion and upgrade of the lighting set.
A wish list was drawn up by chief lighting technician Bart Mesman and lighting technician Jo Gofers, and after looking at and testing various options, Robe and Controllux were again chosen.
The existing Robe fixtures were still good and the service and commitment from Controllux were also a big plus for Bart to make this choice.
The new set includes:
16x Robe Painte (12 above the stage and 4 on the floor)
12x Robe LEDBeam 350
8x Robe LEDBeam 150
Supplemented by:
8x Lupo Dayled 1000 Pole operated.
8x Queled CW-5 wallwash RGBWA
18x Fos Uno Pro single blinders
And a GrandMA3 Light console.
The already present set of Robe DLX and Robe LEDWash 300's was moved up the hall to be used as walk-in lighting and moving front light.
We wish head lighting technician Bart Mesman and technician Jo Gofers and their team a lot of fun with this beautiful upgrade and are proud to have worked together for many years.
